Acetyl L-carnitine (ALC) is a form of carnitine that enters the body more efficiently and, unlike L-carnitine, penetrates the blood-brain barrier more easily, has an important effect on the brain (increases alertness, concentration, cognitive functions and memory). The anti-catabolic amino acid tyrosine is an excellent energizer and strengthens the activity of neurotransmitters (transmitters of nerve impulses). Physical exertion, such as training, reduces neurotransmitter levels. This deficit is also responsible for the development of fatigue and overtraining. Tyrosine helps to restore optimal levels of these neurotransmitters, which brings a rapid increase in performance.
